Indigemama provides holistic care you deserve, using ancient and modern healing modalities.

I reached out to Indigemama for tips on how to get off birth control in a healthy and natural way, I ended up receiving a womb massage and more information and care than I have ever received at any OBGYN office. That very day, I felt empowered, suddenly awakened inside, like my body had been screaming for this type of ancestral healing all along. Since then, I have developed a true appreciation and love for my womb and all the things it’s capable of. Not only is the relief physical, but also spiritual. By connecting with my womb via massage and yoni bath, I was able to release a lot of pain and shame from my past. Without Indigemama’s knowledge and support, I would have never know the feeling of wholeness. For that, I am truly grateful!

I learned about Indigemama right after I came back from a trip to my hometown in South America. I had been facilitating knowledge shares on reproductive justice, radical sex education and sharing traditional or abuelita medicine. When I came back, I was exhausted and looking for something new and refreshing. I learned about Matriz y Concha and decided to take the workshop, I am so happy I did! Matriz y Concha introduced me to womb massage, a beautiful and important tool for those of us interested in holistic and traditional health. After that, I was an assistant for Indigemama’s Intensive Womb Massage course and then participated in the Advance Womb Massage session. Panquetzani’s teachings have given me a great foundation to continue researching and learning about internal massage traditions in Abya Yala. As a full spectrum birthworker, student midwife, educator and Reproductive justice organizer, I feel honored to learn from Indigemama. Panquetzani is a traditional medicine woman who has learned her craft from abuelas y señoras and continues to transfer knowledge to future generations.

I have had the pleasure of abdominal massage as practiced by Panquetzani of Indigemama, and it was an amazing experience. I am an older mother, having birthed my final son at age 42, and had always had a very healthy womb and menses. And I still do, but you know, I’m older, and the body experiences stresses with age that aren’t there when we are younger. Women of my age can often present with prolapse and a weakening of organ structure in the pelvis.  I was almost 50 at the time that Panquetzani worked on me, and truthfully, of late I hadn’t paid much attention to my womb. But when she began to work on my abdomen, when I felt the powerful massage, movement, and energy that she was directing to my precious core, I became highly aware and focused on what she was doing. Some of it came close to overwhelming, the feeling of pressure as she moved muscles and fascia and ligaments and other assorted tissues that hadn’t been experiencing much movement of late. But the connection! I could feel my womb as she maneuvered it into place. I could feel the stretching of tissues—sometimes a bit unwillingly—as they were encouraged to move back to their correct places. Realignment and a clearing of stagnation. Profound. It was a journey, for me, of reconnection and a regaining of power and self-care.

Panquetzani also has an incredibly warm and compassionate nature, an inclusive and affirming practice, and a wicked sense of humor. She’s a natural teacher and has that lovely Earth Mama energy about her that creates a calm and welcoming presence. She is seriously awesome. I love her.

First of all, the energy that Panquetzani brings to a room is transformational.  Just her presence is a healing.  Luckily for us, she’s not just DEE, she’s funny too, has a delightful sense of humor and she’s extremely down to earth.  I felt that although she is a young woman, that she was sharing and channeling something very ancient.  She shared her knowledge with an air of respect to the teachings and respect for us as woman on our own unique journey.

The womb massage techniques that she shared and practiced with us left us all feeling grounded yet light as air.  We were amazed! I realized that our womb is our center as woman and I learned to get in touch with this part of myself, literally and figuratively through her teachings.  I’m am now an even bigger fan of this incredible woman!

For the first time in my life, my past two cycles I haven’t had to take any pain pills.
That’s magic right there!
